Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery has been supplying community family physicians with their locally made hand sanitizer. The VJH Physician Society is working with the Divisions and Okanagan Spirits to extend the offer to all specialist offices. Distribution of the hand sanitizer is being coordinated through SNO Divisions of Family Practice. VJHPS would like to thank SNO for their assistance with the distribution.
“This is a WHO and Health Canada formula. A made farm-to-flask hand sanitizer from pure, high-quality ethanol, instead of hand drying isopropyl, plus a small amount of h2o2 and a bit of glycerine. I am the head of the Craft Distiller’s Guild of BC and coordinating the provincial response and also working with the Federal Liberals on the Canadian-wide response to converting over distilleries to join in the battle” shares Tyler Dyck, CEO, of Okanagan Spirits.
To comply with Health Canada regulations, please DO NOT decant the hand sanitizer into a different bottle. The hand sanitizer comes in a bottle with a universal flip cap. For the best usage of this sanitizer, you will need to find a spray top on one of your spray bottles at home, clean out that spray top, trim hose to size and screw it onto the top of your new “Flatten the Curve” hand sanitizer (for personal use only).
Supplies can be delivered to your office. Please contact administrative@vernonphysiciansociety.ca to place an order.
VJHPS extends their gratitude to Okanagan Spirits for their generosity and to the SNO Divisions of Family Practice for their continued support.
